[1] To leave out =  to omit, not to include

[2] Overview =  a description of the main features of something.

[3] Discriminating =  able to judge whether or not something is good or suitable.

[4] To accumulate =  to get more and more of something over a period of time.

[5] Unethical = morally wrong or against accepted standards of behavior.

[6] To turn up =   to appear 

[7] To grasp =  to understand

[8] To have under one's belt = when you refer to something you have already achieved and done.

[9] To dig your own grave = to do something foolish, something that will at the end hurt you.

[10] To downplay = to make appear less important than it is.
