[1] To give up =  to stop doing something that you are trying hard to do

[2] Options =  something that you can choose in a particular situation.

[3] To end up =  to be in a particular place or state after doing something 

[4] To go for =  to cost 

[5] As a matter of fact = used when you are going to give more details about something

[6] Reasonable =  sensible and fair 

[7] Cutting-edge = extremely modern and advanced.

[8] To be out of one's league =  not at a level where one is as good as someone else at something

[9] Live and learn = used for showing surprising at something new that you have just learned. 

[10] To be a real pain = something very annoying, frustrating or difficult.
